Rendező

Születtem 1984-ben Budapesten. Első diplomámat színész szakon szereztem a Kaposvári Egyetem Művészeti Karának első indított osztályában, a legendás Babarczy László osztályfőnöksége alatt, 2006-ban. Tíz évet töltöttem színpadon vidéki és budapesti színházak társulati tagjaként, majd 2016-tól a színészi pályát magam mögött hagyva áttértem a rendezésre. 2019-től főállásban a Móricz Zsigmond Színház művészeti vezetőjeként irányítom annak szakmai életét, mellette szabadúszó rendezőként dolgozom országszerte. 2021-ben társrendezőként működtem közre egy Nemzeti Filmintézet által finanszírozott nagyjátékfilm elkészítésében, melyet beválogattak a Fantasporto nemzetközi filmfesztivál versenyprogramjába, ahol díjat is nyert.
Munkáimban ugyan mindig meghatározó szerephez jut a vizualitás és a zene, legfontosabb számomra mégis az ember lelkivilágának, érzéseinek őszinte feltárása. Hiszek a művészet világjobbító hatásában, ennél kisebb célkitűzéssel soha semmibe nem kezdek bele.

I was born in Budapest in 1984. I received my first degree in acting after graduating from one of the first classes of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Kaposvár, under the guidance of the legendary László Babarczy, in 2006. I have spent ten years on stage as a company member of various theatres in Budapest and in the country-side; in 2016 I decided to give up my acting career for directing. From 2019 onwards I am the full-time artistic director of the Móricz Zsigmond Theatre, managing its professional art-life. Besides that I also work as a freelance director all over Hungary. In 2021, I co-directed a feature film financed by the National Film Institute, which was selected for the competition programme of the Fantasporto International Film Festival, where it won an award. Although visuals and music always play a key role in my directing work, still the most important thing for me is to explore the human soul and feelings in a sincere way. I do believe in art's ability to change the world for the better, and I never start any work with less of an aim than that.
